From local guide to your host
A native of Corumbá and a former Pantanal guide, Gil has been leading tours through the wetlands for more than three decades.
Gil is always looking for the best locations to offer his guests an exceptional experience, and makes sure his team of guides goes above and beyond for every visitor exploring the Southern Pantanal with Pantanal Discovery.
The tours depart from the heart of the Pantanal, in one of the prime regions for wildlife observation. The wetlands around the lodges are home to yacare caimans, capybaras, armadillos — and jaguars.
